I've been coming here since early 2000s! This place has excellent food! Excellent staff! And is always clean! Most restaurants nearby are short staffed and their waitresses make you feel bad for asking things.. not this place! I highly recommend!
Still one of my favorite places, service is great, food is my favorite and I've never gotten a bad meal, it is always fresh and better than the chain Chinese restaurants. If you don't like it, you're a chain Chinese person, which loads you up on all the salt.

I have been going to Peony's since I was little. Every time I visit home, my friends k ow this is where I have to eat before going back to Orange County. I have suggested it to people from out of town and they just don't get it. It's nostalgic and I crave it. Tonight I called in my order for Vegetable Chow Mein and was told it was going to take 10 minutes. I showed up 10 minutes later and it was ready and waiting for me. Great good and great service
The restaurant may not look like much but the food tasted good. We were recommended to try this place so we finally decided to gave it a go. We came here during lunch hours. The restaurant wasn't busy so sitting inside wasn't an issue. One thing that stood out from the get go was the service. The staff here was nice, attentive and super efficient (5 stars). Peony menu has the usual selection that you can find in most Chinese restaurants. We opted for the lunch specials. It was a good deal as it included main, salad, rice and starter. The food arrived fairly fast. It was hot, freshly made and had good flavours. The fried rice had tad too much soy sauce mixed in as it was quite salty. The chicken skewers were very good. The chicken meat was tender and wasn't over cooked. Dish with veggies and shrimp was equally good. The only down side was the side salad. It was fresh but included iceberg lettuce only and lacked a presentation aspect. Other than that everything else was good. P.S. portions here are big so come in hungry :)
